One of my original implants “double bubbled. I had these implants for 10 years and decided that I wanted to have this corrected and my implants replaced. I scheduled a consult with Dr. Marvel at his Nashville office to discuss this. The consult went well, Dr. Marvel assured me that he could correct the double bubble and replace my implants. It is now obvious that he over shot his expertise, leaving me with the same issue I paid him to correct. Not only did he not deliver the results he assured me he was capable of he also went against the agreed upon plan that we had made during the consult and rediscussed prior to surgery. He placed my implants under the muscle instead of over and put over 100 cc’s more in one of my implants than we had previously discussed. I attempted to discuss the issue with him post-op at his office on three different occasions over the next year following the surgery, the last appointment ending with him claiming that it was just ‘as good as he could do’ then him walking out of the room, I could tell by the look on his assistants face that she knew what was happening wasn’t right. He didn’t care that he failed to do what he said he could because he had my money already and he just wanted me to go away. I could have demanded that that he correct the double bubble or pursued legal assistance against him but I didn’t, I just left his office feeling disappointed, hurt, and taken advantage of. For a man with daughters to treat someone else’s daughter that way says a lot about his character. Take my advice and find a different doctor. Dr. Marvel’s word is worthless.

I really enjoyed my experience at Derbies Botox party. I would love to do more in the future.

The facility was well organized. The staff seemed very nice. The nurse I got was helpful. A common condition/deformity I have that has been recognized by many other doctors I have seen over the years & is known in layman terms even this surgeon had never heard of nor had his nurse yet another lady in the lobby with me had the same thing... Dr. Marvel came in still wearing surgical scrubs, a surgical cap still on his head, acting antsy like he was in a hurry. He did not ask me what I wanted out of my surgery. I expressed I wanted a lift he said that implants that were tear drop shaped would lift me enough. I completely disagreed. He had his nurse show me pictures of surgeries he had done with these implants without a lift. The pictures were terribly nonimpressive & I felt sorry for the patients. He said, "I try to avoid a lift unless absolutely necessary." He never sat down to talk to me he was in too big of a hurry & never listened or even asked me a question. I got 2 other opinions in Nashville both which told me I definitely needed a lift & not to go to the surgeon that told me I did not need a lift that was ludicrous (I did not tell them his name). I went to another consultation where the surgeon sat down, talked to me, listened, then as soon as I removed my robe he said immediately, "Yes, a lift is definitely needed. You'll be happy with the result." I got my surgery done last month with the lift. I am so happy & so thankful I did not go to Dr. Marvel. The implant Dr. Marvel suggested was the most expensive I even requested it at my other consultations they both told me it was not the right one for me then explained why. I would have gone through surgery & still not been happy. I left Dr. Marvel's office very discouraged & felt like I had wasted a 3 hour drive & consultation fee. I do not write bad reviews but I do hope this saves someone from ruining their dream listening to Dr. Marvel try to take the easy route in surgery for himself. I am so happy with my results from Dr. Wendel & glad I did not give up.

My daughter had Surgery in July. We had to call the day before to get the amount because they never called to tell us. We called our insurance to confirm the amount was correct. The surgery went as planned. Three months later we recieve a bill that is 50% over what we paid! When I called I couldnt get a straight answer. Since then we have recieved two bills from them with totally different amounts! We have tried to call 7 times and left messages for Melinda every time in Billing, No RETURN CALL!!! They did take the time to turn it into Collections now though!!!!!

"Dr. Marvel and his staff were professional, personable, and learned on all the options available for correcting my problem area. Upon discussing the options with Dr. Marvel, I was able to make an educated decision on which procedure to move forward with. The process and procedure were caring and expeditious, and the staff made me feel at ease. My results are fantastic; I couldn't be more pleased.
