I took my daughter to get her hair straightened and the hairdresser did a great job. I had a shellac manicure the same day but the nails were average. The cuticles were not properly done. The application of polish was good but it did not look like the nails were manicured. It took less than 30.minutes. I work at a spa in Montreal and a shellac full manicure takes a lot longer than that. The price was low so you get what you pay for

Went for a gel fill. Was told the price would be around $40. The electric file kept slipping while the tech was taking off the previous colour and made my nails misshaped. The application was sloppy. My nails are bumpy, thick, uneven and the colour isn’t properly applied. The tech was really nice but the job was horrendous. When I went to pay I was told the total was $61. I told the cashier the price I was originally told and she repeated the price was $61. I was especially annoyed because my usual place (my nail tech is currently on vacation) charges $30 for a fill and I’ve never had a problem with them (thin, even gel and colour). Do NOT get a gel fill here if you want it to look good. My friend came with me and got get gel taken off and regular colour. She had a different tech and her polish also wasn’t even.

Went in for a color and cut. They had a student color my hair who has only been in school since April, without my permission. You cannot charge 150 for a color from someone who hasn't even finished school. I asked for a trim. 1/2 an inch. Shown with my fingers and had 4 inches taken off and layers that make no sense. As a hairdresser I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be going back.

The sign said they'd welcome walk-ins. I asked if they had time to see me and the answer was yes. No one asked me my name. The person who cut my hair did not introduce herself. I certainly did not feel as if they were interested in me coming back. The haircut is just fine, it was just my interactions that did not seem great.

This salon and spa was okay. I got my nails done and I wasn't aware of the pain associated with the bio gel. However, they did turn out nice. I also got my hair trimmed and the whole time the hair dress kept commenting on the dryness and how I should get a treatment, which I politely denied. The stylist also said she would be charging me 65, instead of 45 because my hair was longer, which has never happened to me before.
