I had an appointment, but the stylist texted me to say that she couldn't make the appointment time. She didn't offer me any rescheduling options so I had to call back the salon. When I called back the salon they said that they didn't have any more openings until the following week. To anyone reading this, I recommend finding a salon that actually keeps their appointments.

My first time going there was not bad I got two French braids and they came out good the hair dresser, Mink, was the one that did it and she was nice. However my second time going there I got a wig sewed on by, Teresa, and the braids were soo tight that when she was seeing the hair on she would pull the strings soo tight that my head was in pain. My head had been hurting for two full days so I finally had enough and cut out the front of the wig where it was hurting the most and I had blood clots on my scalp from everything being soo tight!! It really sucks that this happened because it's hard to find a black hair salon out here so when I finally find one it upsets me that this happened after only two times going!!

Have gone here a handful of times to get my daughter's hair cornrowed and the service was subpar at best. I called in once to ask the stylist I saw what products were used in my hair and was placed on hold for over 15 mins before I eventually hanging up. The braider, Mink, was never warm to either me or my child. Always seemed like we were an inconvenience. I noticed she was friendly w other patrons however. Not only was the customer service basically nonexistent w this person but she also over charged me $10 for a basic Deep Condition. The last straw was when she texted 5 days prior to an appt saying she needed to cancel. I'd reserved the appt 3 weeks ago so it was quite annoying that she did not even offer a different stylist for around the same time/day. Would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere where you'd feel welcome, which is really sad considering how few black hair salons there are in the east valley.
