Mary Beth is super accommodating, she gives an excellent haircut for a very reasonable price . Mary Beth's shop is very clean and pretty. I highly recommend her to anyone!

am giving it two stars because the owner is somewhat nice. The owner, not sure of her name, did my hair. I brought in 5 pictures of the highlights i wanted. They were just basic medium blonde highlights, a few in the back and middle and front. She suggest for bleach I told her no way. We used a hair color graphing book to match the color in the pictures. Then I showed her pictures of the layers of a cut I wanted. The whole time she was doing my hair there was never a conversation, which is ok with me because honestly i like being left alone. But even when I asked here and there to make small talk, it was yes or no and that is it. When she was done with my hair and finally got to look in the mirror. My hair color looked EXACTLY the same as when i first came in. Only difference my prior front, only two highlights were now bleach blonde. For a while she would not make a comment on what happen. I am not a rude person, nor a drama person. I advised her I understood she was apperanlty too afraid to mess up so she went with a color that wasn't going to be too blonde or make too much of a mess. And i'd rather have that then a messed damaged hair of a color and to have to fix it. But I got the feeling from the beginning this women does not know her way around. She was good at placing the foil but something seemed off. Even my cut was not what I showed her or explained. Also before I had her do my hair, my color was at a perfect brown, and as a women you know how long it takes to get that done or find. Now the highlights she put in, have turned my color into a deep reddish after glow. With a good 5-10 minute conversation of trying to figure out what to do I got the feeling she still wanting me to pay. So before she got to say anything I asked "how much do I owe you?" with a expression REALLY! She hesitated and said nothing. It was the walk of shame after that. I felt bad for her but this is a women that either should be taking more classes in the coloring for hair business or just manage her business and leave it up to the bros. I didn't have to pay in the end but now I have to find someone again to fix the problem. I hope I have enough time before my vacation, and my trust right is at it's lowest.
