Christine at Eliot James is absolutely amazing. She leaves me satisfied everytime! I have been going to Christine for almost 4 years and will never go to anyone else. I highly recommend if you are looking for someone who takes there time to do exactly what you need go to Christine.

I had Jessica Venezia at the Eliot James Salon in Petaluma cut my hair and she ruined it. It will take 1 - 2 years to grow out the damage she intentionally cut into my hair. I came in with a very nice cut she had done before and instructed her to cut my hair the same way, I only wanted it trimmed up. When I showed her the same picture I brought in last time, she very snottily said, "there you go again with those pictures." When I said you cut it like this the last few times, she had a very strange response. She said, "just so you know, all those good cuts before was just dumb luck." I really wish I had followed my instincts and just left right then and there. I have no doubt that she did this to me on purpose. Because, she had a very sneaky and impolite way of asking who I voted for in the last Presidential election along with many other personal questions which were inappropriate, unprofessional and just rude. When I came in my hair was long and thick, more than enough length to achieve any style, but, she fought me on my choice every step of the way. This is the ugliest hair cut I've ever had. She cut it extremely choppy, frayed, spiky, zigzags and thinned my hair like it's never been before. She deliberately cut my hair to look damaged. It's just completely nonsensical and bizarre. I'm known for my hair and getting compliments at my age is very flattering. Now I'm hearing, "what did you do to your hair?" or "did you want it cut like that?" and "why did she do that to you?" Not only has she ruined my hair, she's ruined my self confidence. She knew I didn't like the cut but only refunded $15 out of the $75 I paid her. For that much money my hair should have left that salon looking like the picture. When a customer brings in a picture and that customer has enough hair to achieve that hairstyle, the hairdresser should just cut it like the picture! After all, we customers are the one paying the bill, that makes us in charge of our hair, not the hairdresser. After several weeks of trying to live with as well as trying to disguise this very bad hair cut by Jessica Venezia, I sent her a picture of what my hair looked like before she cut it and what it looked like after she chopped it to bits. I requested a full refund. She only issued a $15.00 refund out of the $75.00 I paid her. This is her snotty e-mail response. She said, "I'm not issuing a refund. Do not contact me again. I don't care what you say or do I will or respond again." Not a very nice thing to do to a disabled senior citizen. Photo included.
