Samera is awesome! She always does my hair just perfect. Never fails. She is great at children's cuts as well!

Started to go to Samera about three years ago. I moved back to the Bay Area and was looking for someone to help me figure out what to do. I had spent most of my adult life in the Military and even though I got our years before, I had kept my hair short basically out of habit. Basically, I had no idea what I was doing. Samera was very patient with me and carefully explained what would work, what wouldn't and made a plan for how to get there. She approached it as a long term project (which it really was) and -although I only saw her once a month- she picked up the conversation and the plan like I had been in the day before. She has exceptional skill and I've learned to trust her advice. 6 months before my wedding I brought in a few pictures with different styles that my wife and I thought would look good for the wedding. She indulged every crazy idea, did exactly what I asked, but in such a way where I could always change it if I needed. She worked with me and taught me what I needed to know to get my hair where I needed it to be for my wedding. I can't say that I actually know what the hell I'm doing with my hair, but I definitely know what I need and, more importantly, know where to go when I need help.

By the far the best salon experience I've had, the attention to detail is impeccable.
