One of the few Japanese style salons in the San Mateo area. Your experience will depend highly on your stylist obviously. Mine is good. The street parking here is good to great. Pretty easy to get an appointment here. $45 for a men's cut. Pretty reasonable. I usually come here to pamper myself every so often with the 'Japanese rock" hairstyle look. Although they might be a little pricier, I can guarantee the moment I walk out of the salon, I will not cry. Aki has done my hair in the past, however she just moved back to Japan. Now, I'm getting my haircut from Keiko? Again, I come here every 5 months and every experience has been great. Lastly, I wish there were more Japanese hairstylist out in the east/southbay area, just saying

I have been here twice for color and haircut. The service is ok although what I did not like was the additional services they would suggest and then charge at the end. The stylist does not ask - he simply tells you what your hair needs and then charges insane prices afterwards.
