Sam usually cuts my hair and she is excellent. If Sam wasn't available, I've gone to other stylists and still gotten a great haircut. I am now spending much less money and getting fantastic cuts that I am always 100% happy with. I can't say the same about the some of the fancier places I've gone to.

I spent some time trying to decide if I should leave this review. I was was not completely without fault in the matter. That being said, I still decided to leave a bad review because this is the single worst experience I've ever had at a salon. Went in for a haircut. Had plans that I had to leave for in a few hours. I don't normally color my hair and was thinking of highlights so I asked how long it would take. It took much longer than I was told. When I showed irritation I was told she had no way of knowing how long the color would take to process. So fine then why did you give me an inaccurate time frame? She should have said that when I asked. I would have skipped it. That was bad, but it got much worse. She was was new from what I gathered. She tried to sell me a wet brush and I told her I had one at home, and I love it because my hair tangles really badly. So she proceeds to wash my hair, pulling hard and poking me with her long nails. I just wanted the shampoo to be over with. Then she rakes the tangles out of my hair, no joke it was so painful I was almost in tears. I asked if she had a wetbrush and she said "oh for you you to buy??" NO FOR YOU TO USE, NOW!!!! I was told she did not have one, she was new and had not completed purchasing items for her "kit" yet. Ummmmm seriously??? She chopped up my hair because she could not get it brushed out straight enough because of the tangles. My scalp hurt so badly when we were done. I was as so late that I cut her off after like 2 min of blow drying, I had to go. But they still charged me full price for styling. I did not have time to argue so I paid and tipped well because she was as new and I did feel bad. But after thinking it over I regretted it. I had no reason to feel bad, the irritation that I showed was minor...and tipping her sent a wrong message. Hopefully she used it to buy a wetbrush. I am just glad it's over and will never go back. By the way she left the toner on way too long. I wanted subtle highlights but couldn't even tell anything was done. Complete waste of money. Should have known better though than to get color at a haircut place.

I was a walk-in appointment and Michelle was available. She did a fantastic job cutting my hair - I am so happy with it. She is super nice, too.
