I've been taking my grandson to the same barber for 4 years but moved from the area to Rockford.. I was Walmart shopping one afternoon and saw Maynard cutting another child's hair, decided to give him a try.. Now he is the only person I will allow to cut my grandsons hair. The staff is so nice and the shop is always clean. Never a long wait. This shop deserves more then the standard 5 stars❤

I just want to leave a compliment about one of the stylists at this location, Maynard McGee. He did an excellent job with my son's hair cut. I briefly showed him a picture of the cut I wanted, and he nailed it! He took his time to do a great job with the boy he was working on before me, and gave the same attention to my son. And, even though he took his time, the hair cut was still done within 20 minutes! I am very particular about my children's hair styling and cuts, but I will continue to come back here as long as Maynard will be available to do my son's hair cuts. Thank you for hiring good stylists!!!! We the customers DO appreciate it. I did look into reviews of different "big name" salons, but all of them had some negative reviews from dissatisfied customers. I took the time to leave this comment hoping that someone might be able to use this review to feel comfortable here (with Maynard).

I went in here for a major change. I wanted about 6 in of hair cut off and something different. I have had some really bad haircuts in the past. Betty Symone (she goes by Symone) was amazing!! She asked questions, listened to what my vision was and brought pics up on her phone to give examples. I have never had someone listen to exactly what i wanted. She took her time and asked throughout the session if what she had done was good or if i wanted adjustments. I asked for a couple of adjustments and she was more than happy to make it happen. I am really impressed and extremely happy with my new do!! Thank you Symone for taking the time to listen!
