I have come to Bertuca to get a no-chip manicure twice. I called a few weeks in advance to get a weekday appointment and there were plenty of options for me to select a convenient time. I was promptly greeted and offered something to drink. I was taken back to the back of the salon where nails are done. Dorothy took care of me on my first visit (for wedding #1) and two weeks later when I cam back for removal of the first no-chip manicure and application of a new color (wedding #2). Dorothy was very professional and asked me all of the appropriate questions about my preferences (how short I wanted my nails, preferred nail shape, etc.). She made conversation but didn't force anything. There were times where she was focused on her work and I could just relax, which was nice. The selection of colors is great. I wish there were more blush/nude colors for no-chip but there are a few. Dorothy did a good job and both sets lasted just about two weeks each. I would have liked more of a hand massage which I am accustomed to getting at other salons, but otherwise couldn't have been happier with my experience at Bertuca. The price was very reasonable and I got a 20% off coupon after my first visit which I used for my next appointment. All in all, I highly recommend and plan on returning the next time I need my nails done for a special occasion.
