Love this salon! Julia cuts my hair and Row colors, both do an amazing job and such a treat to chat with them and get their expert hair advice! I go to Art and Science regularly and will continue to :)

I’m new to Chicago and heard good things about Art & Science, but when I went in for a haircut I had a pretty weird experience. The stylist didn’t wash my hair, just straightened it with a flat iron and cut it dry to save time, even though it definitely needed a wash. She was 15 minutes late and very unfriendly, and maybe she was just having a bad day, but it made the whole thing unpleasant. I came out having spent $100 plus tip with a haircut that I had to go home and wash. I would not go back and I wouldn’t recommend the West Loop salon to anyone, either.

Aggie is the best hair stylist in Chicago. Lovely person and meticulous. I drive from Arlington Heights just to see her. I have short hair and it is tough to cut and she is brilliant. Also takes my feedback well.

I love this place. I've been getting my haircut from Maureen for nearly 2 years. Maureen is one of the best in Chicago. I refer all my friends to her

I had a great experience here- will be back! Margaux is fantastic- she listens carefully to her clients to understand what it is they are looking for, and she tailors her approach based on your wants and your hair type. The salon is very clean, and the team is professional. They also use and sell great products like Oribe and Bumble&Bumble.
