Great place for a babies 1st haircut or for older children as well. Well trained stylists that are wonderful with children of all ages. My son got his 1st cut and we still are taking him there. We went just last week and he is 4 1/2.

Our little guy got his first haircut here and i recommend it to everyone i can. I can't remember his name, but the receptionist is soo friendly and sweet. They offer goldfish crackers to your little, and have plenty of toys to keep them busy before it's their turn. My son got his haircut in the Mach 5! Awesome, and they have dvd players to distract them from fidgeting (genius)! Maria cut my little's hair and she was perfect. I gave her a picture of what we wanted and she was spot on. She was very gentle and loving with our guy. They offer a package for the first haircut with a clipping of hair, certificate, amd photo. Cant wait for our next visit soon.

This children's hair salon has been in Edgewater neighborhood for years. I love that this salon has own parking lot behind the store and customers could enter the back. Offered a cup of goldfish crackers and a movie to watch for my daughter to get comfortable. Thr salon easily accommodate a walk-in, like my daughter, a first time customer. Since it was a walkin, it didn't cross my mind to ask if this salon takes debit cards. Anyway, that was easily settled, perhaps there was a sign out front that this salon takes cash or check only and just missed it. (If there wasnt, maybe there should be a sign before entering.) There wasnt much chair selection to choose from: red Wright brothers' style plane, train conductor chair, or retro white race car (suitable for younger or tinier kids). Regardless, my daughter was excited to get her hair washed and cut, since it's been months. Another client came in and I would best described of him being terrified of getting a haircut. It took his mother, hair stylist, and the cashier to distract him/get comfortable with the experience. That child was able to blow bubbles and play with sticky slime. Whereas my daughter couldn't keep still as well, since I requested my daughter for an angled cut, which is $10 more. I felt my daughter deserved a little bit more of an attention, understandable since that client appears to be a regular. I give this place 3 stars because she's had her haircuts in kidsnips and snippets in the past.

Kid-friendly, kid-centered hair salon. My daughter had her first haircut there and we've been going ever since. She always talks about which vehicle she wants to sit in when we're on the way there. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very patient. They were able to get my almost 3 year old daughter to lie down and get her hair washed before a cut - I was amazed and thankful. Highly recommend!
