I had my hair done by this lady a while ago but it was absolutely TERRIBLE. My brother dropped me off at her salon right after school and she got an attitude. She had to go pick up her son from school, then she took me in her car to get a different kind of hair WITHOUT my mom's permission! She switched the hairstyle 3 times, used the hair I was supposed to have on someone else, and was yelling at her son the whole time, he was being hard-headed and disrespectful. She ended up giving me a hairstyle that made my head hurt for 3 days straight due to the tight braiding, and also was something I DIDN'T EVEN WANT, yet she took my money before she even did my hair! 0-5 stars I WILL NEVER go back to this place again. I was at that salon from 3:40pm to 10:30pm, I didn't eat all day due to my lunch/breakfast money in my account running out, and she goes complaining about "I haven't eaten all afternoon." I HAVEN'T EATEN ALL DAY! She's eating this food her son ate a little of and gave the rest to her smacking her lips and chewing ALL loud behind me. I hope nobody else goes through this EVER!

She was very nice the. Braids were entirely to tight, the small part has turned into a large bald spot in the front/center of my head and is very painful. Within three days it started to blister like I was burned. The style its self was very nice and the customer service was wonderful, but very painful end result.

I love divine hair braiding I will recommend anyone to her

I just called to make an appointment, the person who answered the phone was rude, and then hollered at me, started asking me questions about having someone else to do my hair. That's it I'd rather take my money elsewhere. And, people wonder why we don't support black or African owned businesses.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Had to wait an hour and a half past my appointment time, because the owner "slept in", in order to actually get started on my hair. Took another hour for the braider to start my hair because they wanted "the money first" and wouldn't do anything until then. All the while, the owner's child was extremely disrespectful and running around, talking back, climbing on counters, swinging METAL objects that the owner had lying around on the counters, etc. when he couldn't get his way. Which would result in spurts of anger from the mother and her chasing him in a room towards the back. Then, the cycle would start all over again which added time to my hair being braided in order to deal with him. Assistant was disrespectful. Braided way too tight, despite me telling her that it was too tight, and took breaks almost every twenty minutes. Braided WAY past what I wanted. Sat in the chair from 8:45 am to 11:45 pm which is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Oh, guess what? Hasn't been THREE WEEKS and I found two braids in my bed, one in my kitchen and one of my friends at school gave me a braid that fell off when I was walking to class, which was completely embarrassing. I'll sum it up like this: unless you want to go to an overpriced braid shop that is completely unprofessional, does a horrible job on hair and is extremely disrespectful towards you, then I advise you to run for the hills and just get a sew in/crocheted hair at your local hair salon. Would rate zero stars if I could. Will never return to this shop again.
