Walked in the door to find Marshall Field Frango Mints waiting for me at the counter. I'm home! Amenities abound. Treats, chocolate, a wine bar. Yes, a wine bar! Decorated like a nice hotel. I enjoyed just sitting there looking at this lovely salon. Horatio is a sweetheart. Maria took good care of me at the shampoo bowl with nice head massages. Diana did my hair and it looks amazing! I say that based upon all the many compliments I've received. People love it! I've been to many salons in many cities in the area but no more. This is it!

Don is my stylist and he really cuts hair very well. He was a dear friend of Armando, who cut my hair till he passed away so young. Don cuts hair like Armando did. It stay in shape till you go again. I'd recommend him any day.

Wasnt impressed

My best friend and I went to the salon to get her hair cut and colored. My friend showed Nicole a picture of what she wanted (a subtle ombre) and clearly didn't know what she was doing. She asked a colleague for advice and although Nicole was not confidant in her abilities, she assured my friend she would be able to replicate the picture. The final result was horrible. All Nicole did was "attempt" to do highlights and they turned out horribly. Instead of blending the caramel color into her black hair, Nicole put thick streaks into my friends hair that looked careless and amateurish.

I went here for the first time, and I was pretty impressed, Diana was my stylist and I really liked how she did what I asked for! The entire staff is really nice, friendly, I will definatley be going there again!
