Chain haircut place. Good cut for the price. I can go to any location and they have was "permanent records" to give a great cut.

Pretty quick trim. Would prefer if staff knew more about what hairstyle suits you. But, no complaints or issues.

I try not to be too critical and in fact this is the first review I've written. I've gone here twice. I've longer hair and the first time I went, they only sprayed my hair and - not being a hairdresser - I didn't know this meant only a fraction of the hair would actually get cut because it isn't saturated and weighed down. Insofar as spraying seems to be the norm throughout Great Clips, this was not the hairdresser's fault per se - although it should be clear that it's insufficient for longer hairstyles. The second visit, I waited about 30 minutes, which is OK. During the wait, the stylist I ended up having - Angie - received a call and then began to loudly complain to her only coworker (with 4+ waiting customers and 2 being done then) about the call. This complaining went on for several minutes over what sounded like it could have been simply ignored (a complaint about the store's lack of more parking). When I signed in, I specifically asked if they had a basin I could wet my hair in before the cut; they said yes. However, come time for the cut, I had to argue with Angie for about 5 minutes - more than the time it would have taken - to get her to actually wet my hair, after which I gave up and let her "spray it a lot" - she insisted wetting it wasn't necessary. As a result, the hair was most the way dry less than half-way through the session and the same problem I had last time persisted. The unwillingness to simply wet the hair was frustrating and I wasn't terribly surprised about the disrespect, as the poor guy she had prior to me was gossiped about for several minutes prior to when I sat down (as she swept her station, etc). Angie was equally unprofessional during the session. For example, after hastily pinning up the side and trimming only the back end a little, she insisted the job was done. I pointed out nothing but the very ends of the longest strands were cut and requested she cut the remainder such that split ends on most strands - not just those at full neck length - are trimmed. She sarcastically retorted "That's a weird request, I don't know how to do that. How do you do that?" This kind of back and forth "don't know how to do my job, tell me or pay me anyways" continued until I literally had to say, "I'm not a stylist and don't know the science behind it," explaining that most stylists simply lift the hair to trim the ends that aren't full length. After arguing with me about this being called "layering," and my insisting that - whatever it's called - just get rid of the split ends, Angie pretended to do what I had suggested and lifted a small fraction of the remaining portions to trim the split ends. However I could tell nothing was actually being cut (too far down, plus the hair was dry as she insisted was OK). After seeing my frustration with the situation, she sarcastically 'apologized' with something along the lines of "I mean, sorry, I just ain't feelin' it today." I suspect she "ain't feelin' it" because she came to work contagiously sick as I describe below. Angie's demands that the customer know how to do her job and her "not feelin' it today" were likely because she was SICK (sniffling and grabbing at least 5 tissues). Poor hygiene seemed a problem generally with her, as she CLEANED A COWORKERS BLEEDING CUT before touching my head again without washing her hands. I cannot recommend this shop. As others note, they do not trim hair by the ears or any more than the bare minimum. It's unhygienic (sick workers, blood exposure), the workers are rude and gossip with one another in front of customers, and they actively resist doing their job well - arguing with you about simply tasks for longer than it would take to simply do them.
