One word. *WOW* Management must be on top of things here because this place is ran like a finely tuned machine. Entering through the double entrance, I was immediately welcomed by a fun and friendly atmosphere so awe inspiring I could barely catch my breath. Attempting to gain composure I hear "Hello, welcome to Ulta". I look to the left to see an employee smiling as she says "Is there anything I can help you with". I could tell in the look of her face and demeanor that she loved being there. As I went through the store this theme continued. The employees seemed very happy and in turn were happy to use their infinate wisdom in All Things Beauty to help me find mine. They are eager to help but not like car salesman eager, you know, all up in your grill...just the perfect amount. They knew what would look good and what wouldn't and what brands work the best for different skin conditions. I'm not sure what's going on with some of the negative reviews about this location but my guess is they are either bitter ex employees that just cant stand that they no longer work at the best place ever or just plain hateful people that get off by hurting others. Oh well, haters gonna hate.

I used to really like this Ulta and it used to be my favorite one. However lately every time I visit I have had a negative experience thanks to the employees to the point that I'm just kinda like nah, i would rather not have my evening ruined by rudeness. My last visit all the employees were gathered around a makeup display that i was waiting to look at, gossiping like high schoolers (although to be fair they didn't look much older than high schoolers). No one really acknowledged or acted like there were customers in the store, it was awkward. My past few experiences have been marred by cashier rudeness. I was met with an attitude for asking about a sale sign and having a price double checked. I've always been very polite because I know being a retail cashier can suck but i don't think it's too much to just be kind in return. I'll probably start shopping more at the Fort Wayne Ultas if i can, I shopped there for years before moving and can't remember ever feeling dread when walking into their stores. Update 7-22: the atmosphere has GREATLY improved at this location since I wrote this review. There's a lot of different people there now and it seems like a much friendlier polite atmosphere. I've gone back to shopping here more.0

The staff is ALWAYS nice and helpful. I never leave with out what I went for and if I do they make sure it is ordered and on its way to my house . Truly love the versatility and that the stuff I use is all in one store. and close to me.

On one hand, this store has a great selection of beauty products for men and women. Many products they sell aren't available anywhere else in the area, which before, could only be ordered online. But with convenience comes price. Their stuff is more on the pricey side. So to sum up my review, Ulta it's a great place to pick up hard to find products, but you are better off ordering them online if you're willing to wait for delivery.
