During the braiding process, they switch (one stylist braided the back, another braided the front) which is really problematic being that one of the braiders braids a lot tighter than others. The front of my head is braided really tight and the back is fine - which is annoying. Also, the customer service and overall attentiveness is quite poor - they speak another language to each one another the entire time, while never checking in to see how you're doing, if they're causing you pain, how large you want the braids (I wanted medium sized, however they gave me braids that were slightly larger than micros - which is too small!). While the braids came out fine - I don't know if I'm ever going back.

Simply loved it. I loved the atmosphere. She is an excellent beautician. I have found my hairdresser. Being that I'm from Chicago it was a hard thing to do. The price range is affordable. Best sew in and braids in Des Moines.

I'd give them a zero if i could. Made a lot of my natural air fall out. Not to mention junky shop. I should have seen the signs but ignored them to help a small business. Don't go here. I had to cut off half of my natural hair after a sew in and i have scabs in my hair and n i didnt have any scabs before hand. She does not know what's she's doing. Braids too tight. I had a big beautiful afro and now it's gone. Don't waste your money pay for a professional. My hair will grow back, I'll never do another are in again. Never.
