Angie takes the time to discuss my needs upfront and is always willing to make subtle or bold changes depending on my mood. By offering a wide range of products and brands, they always have what I need to achieve my desired style. Thank you KJ & Kompany for always making me look and feel my best!

Every week for years my mother has come to this salon to get her hair done. They always take good care of her and keep her very happy! I have called long distance a few times to pay for my mother’s services and they are great to handle every thing. And happy to surprise my mother with it. Thank you for your hospitality when my mother is in the shop!!!!

Im putting three stars because I like their employees & I feel that they do a good job at pleasing their clients however, the owner was extremely rude to me & treated me like a child. She told me not to touch anything on the hairdressers table, "there are sharp objects and they are very expensive & don't want you to get hurt." Then my daughter asked if she could sample their makeup they have to try but the owner said that one of the hairdressers would help her, that noone is allowed to sample it themselves. The girl then offered to do my daughter's makeup while I was getting my hair colored. She never told me that it would cost anything and said that she would love to do it since she had nothing better to do and had no clients. There was a blizzard that night and the girl was not done with my color so I had planned to return the next morning for her to complete it. She said she had to call the owner since she left for the night but didn't answer. I found out at the check out that the owner tried to charge me$30 for my daughters makeover ( which if it wasn't a free service she should have informed me as a parent but she did not) when the owner called back, I was already on the road driving through a blizzard and almost home plus they were closed. She said that since I left without paying, she was going to call the police. I told her I had to disput the charge for the makeover & that couldn't be done until the next day. she said, "well what did you expect, that it was a free service!? these girls have to make their money we don't just do services for free." I was blown away! I said that we have gone to Dillards and younkers who give free makeovers...?? I was just blown away by her attitude & the way she treated me. I felt so disrespected especially since I have been going to KJs since the 90s! I have always paid and tipped well. I reminded the owner of that and assured her that I would be back in the morning once the hairdresser was able to finish my hair but but was not going to pay for my daughter's makeover because the woman did not inform me that there was a charge for it, nor is it listed anywhere. Long story short, I ended up having to give her my credit card over the phone because she was so worried that I was not going to return and I feared being arrested. I stupidly came in a year later for my daughter's trim because no other salon had availabilities. The owner recognized my name and wanted to speak to me about the review I left because she didn't remember any of it. So I had to refresh her memory. She felt that she did nothing wrong and she then refused to serve us because she said that my review left a bad impact on her business. I told her that I would revise my review to detail about what happened and let people form their own opinion. What a nightmare!
