My mother loves Allie for the mani - pedis and massages. I've never gotten a bad styling there and they have fixed my hair when I've tried to cut it myself. Everyone is friendly and professional. it's clean and decorated with a flair. I've got curly hair, I'm tender headed and I don't like to fuss with my hair with all those constraints my hair looks great thanks to Ted and his staff.

There is no doubt that getting waxed is a very painful experience and I have only had it done once before (and I would have gone to the same place if I had not had to relocate.) I was reluctant to go to a new place, but since my husband got a gift certificate for this place, I went. When I called to make an appointment, I was greeted by a very friendly voice and he was very professional, in that, he tried to provide me with as much information as I needed as well as not making me wait for too long on the line when he had to get confirmation for my appointment. The person who was scheduled to do the wax job on me, Sandy, was very prompt and personable. (I cannot imagine someone looking unkempt working at a beauty salon.) What made it bearable was the fact that I did not feel rushed to deal with the pain. Sandy made sure that I was ready and that I had time to recover from each pull. The whole experience was not as bad, and I already made an appointment for the next session as well as for a massage. The only thing about the wax job was that they did not do a full wax job. Instead, if you want to get a complete Brazilian, they would use a sharp pair of mini scissors to trim. (I forgot why they do not use wax for that.) Overall, I was very satisfied with the service. Sandy seemed to totally listen to what I needed, and she spent time to answer a lot of my questions thoroughly and concisely. I am giving it a four-star because that was only my first time with them. I am hoping that it will only get better.
