Great service, nice place. Love it!!

I was being treated to a Birthday gift hair do by my mom. I decided to give Diane a try as I was told that she has been in the business for 15 years. I liked a hair cut that I got through a young woman named Emma previously. I was informed Emma no longer worked there. I decided to give Diane a try. I waited some time for Diane as other clients were ahead of me even though I had a scheduled appointment. I wanted a body wave and did not want tight curls or a lot of maintenance. Diane told me she would use purple rods. At the end my hair looked like a poofy mess. I figured that it would get better and the initial work would take its course. I went back and told Diane- she styled it and advised I buy a brush because mine was not suitable. I bought a $25 dollar brush. She told me if I took medicine that this might affect the perm after I had it done. Quite frankly, I have had no one ever ask me this type of question. My hair a month later is frizzy, dull and not what I expected. This was $120 dollars paid in cash and the end result is a sad display of a failed job. My friends and family and co-workers think my hair looks worse. My time, my gift and hair have become something that I feel ashamed of. I know that Diane is a nice person but I have to live with my hair. At this point I just want a refund- or my mom to get the refund as she paid for my Birthday gift. I cannot waste anymore time on this hair do gone wrong. I wish that I never got this body wave-

Stylish and sophisticated salon with reasonable prices. You might not expect such a nice place, since the plaza is rather plain, but the decor and atmosphere are very relaxing. (It feels like a lounge, rather than cold and post-modern, which is nice.) Right on 3A on my way home from work, too. Staff is friendly and professional, and they even offered me coffee while I waited, since I got there a bit early. As a guy, I found this to be a nice upgrade to your basic barber, for not too much more. It's nice to get your hair washed before a cut. It's relaxing (and you don't have to dread getting a bit sweaty before your cut on a blazing summer day) Prices are listed on their site, so you know what you are getting into. I found the quality and skill to be top notch. (hairs lookin' great) I recommend it (even if you are a guy, c'mon fellas, you can treat yourself too)
