Solid haircut done here.

I had a bad hair dye job that left me with "hot roots" and a ring of pink/red around my scalp. The color I picked was a brown red/ and it did not turn out like this. My scalp burned, and my scalp/roots looked fluorescent. I immediately freaked out and went to my friend's salon (who I should have done my hair in the first place, or I wouldn't be in this mess). She stated "yes you have hot roots." which is apparently something you get when your un-dyed (virgin hair) takes in the dye and makes it lighter than the rest. She also stated something about the girl that did this messing up the developer in the dye (whatever that means.) AHHH...she tried to put brown lowlights over the top to make it semi-livable, but I am still stuck with this ugly red/pink/purple color. I called this firs barbershop and talked to the women and I was very nice and she stated" ok, come in and we will see what we can do to fix it. "She was not very excited believe me, but I neither was I. I did not want to go back to a place that made my head/hair look like that. They refuse to give me my money back because I went somewhere else supposedly! I guess it is ok for people to go around with hot roots, no big deal! Now I have this hair and there is no way to fix it. I have dyed my hair a million of times with box color and by other salons and have never had this happen. Just my luck when I try someone new. Anyway I will never go back or do I recommend anyone else too. This is my opinion, but believe me you would not want this to happen to you.
