I was very impressed. My daughter has natural hair and hasn't had her hair straightened in 4 years because the last couple of times she received heat damage. There was no heat damage. Her hair did not smell like a pressing comb or flat iron. Her ends were trimmed not chopped. And the young lady that cared for her hair was fast. Homecoming was successful.

Try to avoid this salon, specifically Danielle, if possible. To begin, my appointment was at 2:30, I didn’t get in the chair until about 3:15. I came here for my big chop after being natural for years. I showed her the style I desired and she proceeded to cut and style my hair. I was not expecting my cut to look exactly like the picture I showed, but I did expect it to look similar. Instead I was given a cut that I did not ask for and did not want. I left the salon thinking that maybe the style would grow on me after a couple of days or maybe I needed to take a closer look because it was like the cut I showed. It did not grow on me and after showing several people, it was not anything like what I asked for. I called Danielle and instead of a refund or trying to work with me on fixing my hair, she simply told me that she never promised it would look like the picture and that I should have said if I didn’t like it right on the spot. She then proceeeded to tell me all the different reasons why my hair wouldn’t look like the girl’s in the picture, none of which she mentioned before she started cutting. I am someone who is usually very easy to please and understand that no stylist can reacreate another’s look, but if Danielle felt that she couldn’t get close to the shape I wanted she should have expressed that before I trusted her with my hair. I was made to feel as though the reason I didn’t like my hair was because of the weather and that I didn’t actually know what I wanted. It was just the opposite of that. I knew what I wanted but this stylist was not capable of delivering and did not express this before she cut my hair. Again if you’re looking for a stylist who cares about their clients and work even after they leave the shop, DO NOT LET DANIELLE TOUCH YOUR HEAD. I will add, the other stylists (one works on long hair and the other is a braider) in the salon seemed lovely and I saw them do great work.
