Natural Ladies this is not the place for you! This review is not to take away from the stylists or the skills that they may have but sometimes you can run a successful business not based on customer service but simply by supply and demand. Being that this establishment is in a mostly minority neighborhood and women of color tend to not be able to live without their weaves, braids, extensions etc. you can provide that service and do very well. That being said... Customer service in this establishment was non-existent. When I arrived I was greeted by nothing but stares & an empty reception desk. Little did I know the shop owner was the first chair at the door and she was there working on a client. She also did not greet me but gave a glace in my direction then continued on instead. I am very careful with my hair and I take pride in taking the time to manage my coils and I expect the same when paying for a service. I was not asked about the process with which I handle my hair or any questions about how I preferred my hair to be handled. My hair was not washed in sections it was scrubbed vigorously as though my hair were straight. I was talked into bleaching my hair more than it already was to add the color I wanted. Low end styling products used "Motions". My Hair was raked over with a fine tooth comb (after I asked for use of a wide tooth comb instead). I did not get the style I wanted done to my hair even after being asked what I wanted done. The stylist didnt seem to really listen to what I asked for. During the styling process I mentioned that it felt like my hair was being ripped out and I was laughed at and told that I was too much. Then it was announced across the salon. The style ended up with was cute yet not what I wanted.... $70 +$10 tip wasted. After 4 days of the style being in I decided to deep condition, during just the application of the conditioner to dry dirty hair, my hair fell out in big clumps of curls, whole strands, which never happens ever! Soo... with hesitation I leave this review, I don't like to write negative reviews but I decided to warn all naturalistas to visit at your own risk.....

This place has roaches and poor customer service. Waited forever for hair to be washed although there were multiple "stylists" available. Will never return
