I got box braids here and they did it amazingly the process took only 3 hours which usually take several hours in other places. My experience was amazing!!

SO my hair journey has been interesting and Fe Nomenal Styles has been with me all the way! First and foremost this is such a professional yet warm and loving setting. Now my hair use to get relaxed and then I decided to grow it out and cut of the straight ends...well I did. So I rocked my afro for awhile and wanted to switch it up so through recommendation I found Felicia. She helped me pick a color for my hair (Blonde! but every color is custom to fit the individual person and there life/look) and walked me through the process which is amazing so many stylist just put stuff on your hair. Without even saying what it is and what it will do. Also side note she did my hair for graduation and even researched on her own tricks to help me keep my cap on because I wanted my hair curly. She helped me with products and trimming and just last month I decided I wanted to cut my hair off again #cutlife I know I am always changing. I can honestly say I never knew short hair would look so good on me I LOVE IT! If you are a natural girl whose changing it up or needs more bounce go to Felicia! She does my little sisters hair as well and I have never seen her hair so curly in my life (and this is honest).

Okay, so I've read a few reviews regarding Fe Nomenal Style and one of them really describe the true experience one encounters at this place so here's my story. . . #location Coming from Jersey City, I found the location very easy to find. It's in a very nice location and I believe there's a train station, a Theatre, A diner, a cigar shop across the street as well as restaurants, boutiques and other bodega's. There's available street parking so the Shop was easy to find and parking was a breeze (I didn't have to ride around in circles to find a spot). #ambiance When I walked in the door it was love at first sight! Like really! The redesigned has a boutique look and relaxing feel of being in a Spa. Upon observance you can certainly tell that a lot of thought went into the design of the place. It's quite ornate and sophisticated. The colors are soothing and couches plush all while the lighting invited me to take a seat and relax. They even have WiFi and a laptop table for those of us who need to work while getting pampered!! While sitting there listening to the soothing sounds of Luther Vandross, Jill Scott, Kem, Tamla Mann & Ledisi -- I looked around, took a deep breath, smiled and said to myself..."Diva, you have arrived!" #customerservice The Staff at Fe Nominal Style is graciously friendly; they even speak in soft tones! They were very helpful in assisting with me with choosing a hairstyle & color that worked for me. If I needed to ask a general question about anything going on in the world, their response to any subject that came up and they don't know or wanted clairity was..."We can Google that"! I LOVE IT! #style After all of that I thought, this just can't get any better until It was my turn to sit in the stylist chair. A lovely woman by the name of Felicia greeted me with the warmest smile, softest voice and said, "Welcome to Fe Nomenal Style, what are you getting today". She had me from there. We discussed what I wanted. I told her I wanted color and she spent time with me going over what would work best for my skin tone and the style I was attempting to achieve. Once solidified, she went to work. All while she was doing my hair, we chatted about current events (I'm such a talker) all while giving me tips on caring for my hair. The end result was astonishing! I looked and, more importantly, felt beautiful! The other clients kept complimenting my new doo which was the icing on the cake! I truly had "arrived"! It really was an amazing overall experience. If you're looking for a place to get your hair done then you can go anyplace. But if you're looking for a place that pampers you in a refined atmosphere of maturity and style then Fe Nomenal Style should be your first stop. **I just remembered that it was snowing while I was there and they even offered to help me to my car. I really was blown away! Where do they do that at?? #amazing
