I saw the place from the outside in passing and decided to give it a chance after moving in from out of town. Miss Debra greeted upon opening the door and kindly asked me to sign in and relax. A few minutes were enjoyed watching TV as I waited my turn. Miss Debra listened to what I had in mind and she delivered it beautifully. She didn't toss my head side to side, back to front, like some places do. She was gentle and pleasant throughout. I'm coming back again for sure.

walk-ins welcome" I guess I misunderstood what that meant I walked in on a Thursday at 1:30pm not a soul in the waiting room... I was asked if I had an appointment and I replied no I just need a haircut The Lady at the counter said the next available time was 5pm I then stated that there is no one in the building and you have a couple of stylist standing around doing nothing and you can't give me a 15 min haircut. She said no. I told her I guess I'll have to go somewhere else. Her response which someone could consider rude was "thats fine bye". I would have never walked in if the person I used before had not retired. I was under the impression that a stylist wanted to build a client base to be succesful. I guess things have changed in 10 years. I will just keep looking for a stylist who wants my business unlike this establishment. In response to the owner of this establishment. I find it very comical that every time somebody gives this place a bad review you tend to want to place the problem on the customer. However every review States the exact same thing as I said about people being rude and standing around not being able to give a haircut. I understand that you guys prefer appointments that way the client is guaranteed a spot. However in reviews if that client is 5 minutes late you guys go ahead and take somebody else not giving the client plenty of time to get there because things do come up that hold people up. I also find it funny that you don't even put your name on on your responses. Like I said I will not come to this place as I have felt that you do not want my money nor do your stylist want to build a clientele list. There are too many places to get a haircut that will gladly accept my money. I hope you have a wonderful day and best of luck to you

Not a great experience. Called and made an appointment for a weekday evening after work for a hair cut and beard trim. I specifically requested both because i was told the first time I came to a Guys Place (not this location) that they had to block off additional time for beard trims. I arrived between 5-10 minutes early for my appointment and was asked to have a seat. Two walk-ins came in behind me and were taken back for service immediately. That is a bad practice. If I take the time to call ahead for service, I should be given priority. Instead, I get to sit in the waiting area and watch people who did not call ahead go before I do. I am not requesting a specific stylist, so the first available should be ready to assist me. I wait around 10 minutes before finally being taken back. My stylist lets me know that I am her last client for the day, and that she is ready to get out of there. It was normal conversation and would have been fine, except her actions definitely made me feel like i was being rushed out. I told her that i was scheduled for a hair cut and beard trim, and she responded apologetically that my appointment had only been scheduled for a hair cut, and that there wouldn’t be time for a beard trim. After she was done cutting my hair, she let me look at it, and i said i was satisfied with the cut. She then invited me to the front and started walking away, only then to stop and say “unless you still want the shampoo and hot towel”. Ummm...isn’t that part of the service that I am being asked to pay for? Why wouldn’t I want that!? I had made no indication that i would not want the full service. She definitely made me feel like i was inconveniencing her on her way out of the door. I was disappointed with the service and ready to leave at this point, but i still said that i wanted the shampoo, since i figured i already wasn’t getting a beard trim, i might as well get what’s included IN THE STANDARD SERVICE. What followed was the most lackluster shampoo ever. She did not use warm water, did not use conditioner, and did not dry my hair or offer me a towel to do so after she was done. I had cold water dripping off me walking to the front to pay. Very unprofessional. I have recently moved to the area and was pleasantly surprised that the Guy’s Place had a location here, but after this experience i will probably take my business elsewhere.

Went to the guy's place today for the first time and saw Kim. Love the TVs and enjoyed watching sports while I got my haircut. Kim gave me the best shampoo I have had in my life and a great haircut. The warm towel on my face and shoulder massage was a very nice addition. Found my my new salon and stylist!

Kim was outstanding! She actually went an took her time doing a clean quality job. Unlike other places I've been to that just want to get you out the door to get the next tip. I'm defiantly comeing back next week. The environment there is relaxing with the hot towel and shoulder massage. I highly recommend The Guys Place and also Kim!
