My hair was done on April 2nd literally 2 days later braids started falling out. It took 9+ hours to get medium sized box braids. I wasted $270 !! Save y’all coins and find a quality braider!

This was a welcoming environment at first but however, it took them forever to finish my braids (until closing). As time went on you could tell they were getting frustrated because they were taking a long time. So they took that out on my hair. Box braids are already painful, so them being rough on my head didn't help. They refused to leave out my baby hairs, that irritated me a little. While going through this long process they told me it was $220 about when I was close to being done. Now being a college student who is paying for this all herself, this was VERY expensive. I have had braids done before by many people and it NEVER cost that much. I felt scammed. While telling me that my braids were going to cost an arm and a leg, they also told me last minute that they do not take cards. How is a young, female college student suppose to walk around with that much cash. I have called them before ahead of time. making the appointment and they never thought to mention "oh yeah, we don't take cards." That would have been a nice heads up. So I had to drive to two different ATM's just to give them their money and I had to leave the building with my head half done and looking crazy. I understand they wanted the money ASAP because they didn't want me walking out, but I feel like there was a better way to do that. Even though my braids were nice, it was NOT worth $220. I did not leave there satisfied. I will not be going there next time I want my hair done.

I went in as a walk in on a Saturday. Even though they were very busy, they called someone in to do my micro braids! It was a great atmosphere and staff was friendly. I love my hair. Best I've had since I left NY! I would highly recommend!
