I'm a very very picky person with my hair, since I've gone to different place and had to grow my hair out for a year each time because the job that was done was horrible. My mother and sister go to fantastic Sam's. I'm out of town and since I was in town for a brief moment I decided to stop by. I must say I am pleased with the job that Ashley did. Even though she didn't believe at first that my hair was badly cut and I needed her to fix it. Lol she started to cut and said oh it's not that bad she said this twice and twice I laughed and said oh you are not there yet when she got to the part that was very uneven and badly cut she said oh my. Some people just don't need to cut hair lol she made me fell a hell of a lot better when she said I wasn't crazy and it was bad. She continued to work her miracle but she was very open with me and told me I still had to grow some parts out but she will do what she can for the mean time and the next go around it should be long enough to completely correct. I highly recommend Ashley if you've had serious damage to your hair. She will walk you through and ask you and show you how much you want cut and make sure it's what you want. She doesn't just shop off what she wants. She also cut my almost 3yr olds hair for the first time and she was very patient with her and tried to become her friend even though it didn't work. She still was able to cut her hair. And it also looks good. We both have curly hair not everyone knows how to manage it! GO SEE ASHLEY!!

I called, wanted only 2 long feed in braids. I got the okay and to ask for Janesha (not sure of the exact name, but certainly a black lady). I arrived, went to the counter and indicated I had just called. The lady said ok, then made contact with Janesha, which I did too. She was cutting a little boys hair, took a long time, maybe set on perfection. I thought ok, she's good. Once I was called back, I asked the price, never got an answer b4. Janesha stood beside me whispering to her Manager/boss (which I heard, something like....well, if I did this on the outside, I'd charge .... obviously $40.).rude, very unprofessional, I did not agree, but thought the SS discount would help. For Fantastic Sams, that was still pricy. This same black lady wanted me to go log in and wait, after all these people came in after me...but the white lady said no. So, thank you Ms Manager!! After she convinced me to give her a try, oh my goodness, a big mistake....BIG....she took the starting side aloose 3 times ( knew I had made a mistake), but she left it hanging, and open a new pack, and started on the other side, and said, "oh, there's a method to my madness!" It was terrible. I turned to look at the 1st side, terrible! I had just had a shampoo and conditioner, by my friend, but Janesha matted it down with gel ( had to go back to my friend to get it washed out)! She tried to blame it on the color (really, when there were folks in there with green and blue hair mixed in there hair), saying that my hair was a different color than the extension....honey, u can't braid, u were terrible, and to almost want to get an attitude!!! Really!!! U ARE A SELL-OUT, to even whisper that, right beside me, then wanting me to sign in after you know at least 6 families came in AFTER me. I would have at least said, she's been waiting, I'm not going to let these people in front of her. I have never posted a review, but this one is needed. You keep doing those heads that you can handle in Fantastic Sams, don't recommend you touch black heads, SISTAH, SISTAH!!!!
