Went in as a walk-in for a shampoo and a trim. Paula did a great job, exactly what I needed. I have thick hair and some places don’t get the back of my head very well, or don’t rinse the soap out well enough. She did a great job, very relaxing. Friendly service, I will be going back.

Ladies BEWARE of NEW DIRECTIONS SALON a few weeks ago I went to get my hair highlighted and trimmed by KELSEY after about 4 hours her patience were running thin, I have difficult hair and she had clients coming in the door so she halfway blow dried my hair and out I went. After I got home I realized my hair looked bad and nothing I had asked for was done correctly. I contacted her many times and sent her pictures asking for a refund she said the only way I could get a refund is if I came in. After many times of explaining to her I cannot come in due to my work schedule I sent more pictures as proof and she still denied me. My mother had contacted the owner of the salon who laughed at my mother requests as well. Finally today I missed out on work to go and have a conversation with her to hopefully get a refund of some sort where I was greeted by a woman who was very rude and unprofessional nor would she look at my hair or let me talk and told me I will not receive any money due to the fact I contacted licensing of cosmetology ( as if I did something wrong) I paid $200 for this and all I asked in return was half my money back and instead was treated with disrespect and basically told This is now my punishment. Not to mention I have to walk around with bad hair that I have been growing for 10+ years.
