I've been going to Dove's Nail Salon for several years – on the recommendation from my family who has lived here for several decades. I know that I can always get an exceptional manicure or pedicure at Dove's without having to endure a long wait or pay too much. I am always happy with the final product, and enjoy knowing that I am supporting a local family in the process!

I came from Texas to get married and was staying in Hood River. I ran out of time to be able to get my nails done in Houston and was left in a bind with a 1 hour window to get my nails done in Hood River the day before my wedding. Dove's opened earlier than the other shops so I decided to go. I was so nervous about the reviews especially since I needed perfect nails for my wedding. They fit me in and the experience was great. They helped me with my colors and had patience. My nails turned out great and I walked away so relieved. I could not have gotten any better service or quality. Thank you so much!!

Love going here. Usually packed but they fit you in quickly. The owner is awesome. Haven't had issues ever with my solar or acrylics. His wife does a great job with eyebrows too. Definitely recommend!!!

I have been to several nail places in Hood River and no one does nails as well as Dove's. Not even close. They work so hard to fit walk ins in and do an exceptional job every time!!! Everyone asks where I get my nails done cause they always look amazing! They do great nail art too.

If had the option to give this place 0 stars I would. I'm usually very forgiving at nail salons. I expect a clean job but I don't ask for perfection. my mom and I came here for a mani/pedi and I ended up only getting a pedicure after seeing the terrible job on my pedicure as well as my mother's. I'm pretty sure the woman who (hardly) cleaned my cuticles and got me started was just moving the cuticle cutters around to appear as though she was doing her job because she did absolutely nothing. The gentleman who painted my nails was sloppy and did not clean the edges very well. nearly 24 hours later I wore tennis shoes for a couple of hours and when I got home the nail polish was completely smudged and ruined. The staff was rude, abrupt, and completely overpriced for the subpar services they provide. My mother also did not have her cuticles cleaned properly and one nail chipped just hours after leaving the salon. I do not recommend this establishment at all. Do your nails yourself if it's an emergency because I'm sure you'd do a better job on yourself.
