Best place in Madras for a hair cut and a bit of R and R. The staff and the owner are some of the nicest people in town, and I always enjoy visiting with them. They're very informative and are quick to give you recommendations about anything health/beauty related. The product selections are excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

Emma did my hair and I was completely pleased with her work. She actually listened to what I wanted rather than other places who just pushed me towards what they thought looked best. And by far the friendliest place I went to in town(others were dismissive or just plain rude). I'll be sure to always go here rather than any other place.

Originally, I started going to Opal Day Spa for my Hair amd Makeup about 3 years ago. Now, as a women in my 40's fighting the good fight, I go for the anti-aging treatments and occasional masssges. Their products work very well for my sensitive skin and I find them to be reasonably priced. I have to give props to the staff and the Owner Sarah. I've seen all of them over the years and while I have my favorites Sarah (pssh dont tell the others) , I've received great service from each of them as they all seem to be very knowledgable and so friendly and warm. When I'm unsure about a new makeup product or have skin questions, I can send an e-mail and the response time is always quick and thorough. The treatments themselves are very effective. I'm not interested in fluff. I want the results! Upon the suggestion of Sarah, I did a series of mild chemical peels. It was the best decision I could have made. My skin had never looked so youthful and rejuvinated! If you're unsure about what your skin needs, my suggestion is to book a consultation Sarah. She really listens to my concerns and come up with a game plan for achieving results. I love the location. It's inside a stunningly beautiful building in Downtown Madras. I highly recommend Opal Day Spa.
