Annette Nguyen colored and cut my hair. It started right under my shoulder and i asked her to shape it around my face but keep length. She asked if she could cut all the dead ends off and her first move was to pull my curly hair down and cut it across.. When she was done i was horrified and not only was it different lengths on each side but it was way shorter than i had asked. It now does not even touch my shoulders and i can barely put it in a ponytail. I said i didnt like it so she offered to fix it the next day but to be honest you cant fix it without cutting more off.. The only thing she is good at is making bob cuts for older women. I showed a picture of what my hair came out like, how it was and what i asked for. Update: for some reason google only let me show the picture, that i showed her for the haircut. It wont show my before and after pictures.

I walked in the door and was greeted immediately by Trish . I had no appointment, but I have read that she welcomes walk ins. She was with another client and asked me if I could wait. I said that I would and sat down in a chair to wait. When she was finished with the other client , she motioned for me to come over to the shampoo bowl. I did and leaned back for a glorious shampoo. When we were done there, I went and sat in Trish's chair. It was there that I received the best haircut I had received in over 20 years. I will definitely return soon.

The most absolutely affordable and professional salon in Newport friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Listens to what you want, not what they think should be done. I highly recommend Hairs The Thing!!!
