I love this hair salon because my hairstylist Caitlin is fantastic. She knows how to straighten my hair; she’s super friendly, polite, pretty, and kind. I go to her every Saturday, and I will not go anywhere else. She knows what she’s doing. Wyomissing Hair Studio has become my second home. The owner is a lovely lady who always compliments me about my hair.

Worst haircut I have ever had. I even went in with pictures, (of myself from my hair years ago), and basically I got exactly what I went in with, but shorter. I asked to have it feathered, for it to blend. The bangs go straight across, way too short, (this might have been a miscommunication, because I asked for them to be around my brows, but you would think when you tell the stylist that as soon as your hair meets the heat, it curls, they would have been cut longer than where your brows are to offset this scenario, so I guess I have to specify when wet, but even dry, they are above my brows), do not blend with the front sides at all, does not feather at all ( I think you need layers for that, but if I asked to have it feathered, wouldn’t a stylist know to do layers? ) I really was not going to say anything, but after a few days of the cut, I now noticed one side in the front is at least one inch longer than the other side. (This area was cut when my hair was dry, (never had that done before either, my hair is always wet when trimmed, so I am wondering if this is off due to being dry when cut and my natural wave). I do not know if it was an off day for the stylist or she did not understand what I wanted, or I did not say what I wanted correctly, (but I would think you could see by the pictures I brought), but this experience for me was not even on par at all. I did not say anything at the time because I literally went home crying, mostly because of my bangs. Even my co-workers said, you have the same hair style as before, just shorter. When I went in asking for something different because my current style was not working for me. I should have known, because I have never been in and out of a haircut before in a half hours time.

Terrible haircut for my son. When I called to book I went with who they gave me. Bad idea, I should've known better. I showed her a picture of what my son wanted and she said "it'll never look like that with his type of hair". His hair was the same texture as the picture shown. He had beautiful curls at his neck and I told her he wanted to keep them and to ONLY cut off the dead ends. Omg he came out looking like he had a bowl cut and his sideburns...don't even get me started. My aunt who cuts hair in Maryland took one look at it and said let me fix This. I'm not going here anymore. Edit 8/18/23- I changed my review to 4 stars because the shop owner reached out to me to offer her apologies. She sent me $50 worth of gift cards for another visit. I appreciate her attempts to make it right.

My daughter and I went here for the first time and loved our experience with Gabi and Jen! Now I know why they’re called hair architects. Jen took they time to explain the best way to care for my hair structure and styled it so well. Gabi recommended the right style for my daughter and now she can’t stop smiling about her hair. Thank you ladies! We will be back for sure!

We love the wyomissing hair gallery. We have been clients for years and my entire family goes here. We all have different stylists but they are all equally amazing. The owner is also very nice and personable.
