A beautiful large salon with many talented stylists to choose from! Along with a nail room and an esthetician! Friendly receptionists and welcoming atmosphere.

I had such a wonderful experience today. Warmly greeted at the desk, offered a beverage and brought upstairs to meet me stylist, James. He was very genuine. Nothing phony or over the top, which I like. I sat in the chair and explained that I wanted weight out and more movement, I did not bring pictures. This was followed by the best shampoo job ever. 😁 There was a very natural flow of conversation. Most importantly my hair turned out exactly as I expected. I highly recommend James.

I have been to ALOT of salons through the years hopping from one to the next for various reasons. Needless to say, I am a little picky :( Then I met Kathryn at Salon Blu! I love her! I have been going to her for over a year or more now. She listens to my thoughts and desires and lovingly sets me "straight" if my hair can't do what I think it can. (Unlike other places). I love the color, the highlights and the styles she gives me. She makes sure that I'm not stuck in the nineties. (Those were some great hair years though). "The Rachel"! I also like when I go to a salon and all of the stylists have great hair. If they don't look good, how will I? Oh and great prices too! Beautiful, relaxing environment! True, Salon Blu experience!

I wanted this Salon to work out so bad and to be a returning customer because I have heard nothing but AMAZING THINGS. I tried to keep the best attitude during my appointment on 03/16/19 which was my first visit as a client with Conrad. Let me start off by saying the salon was beautiful and everyone was pretty nice. However the stylist I had, was not a good match. I was told to arrive at 8 AM and that I would receive a color consult. My stylist was not very welcoming and did not ask hardly any questions about my hair. I felt like he could not have cared less. I told him I wanted a silver greyish toned hair. Mind you I came in with PLATINUM blonde hair which is the easiest color to work with. I am also a natural blonde and my roots were slightly grown out which I asked for those to be bleached out also. Conrad did a fine job bleaching my roots but as for toning my hair he over toned it and also did it unevenly. I loved the color in the main portion of my hair but my roots and the back of my head was horrendous. It was NEON purple framing my face and anywhere that my hair had needed bleached. I thought it was common knowledge that if someone has fresh bleached hair vs old blonde hair that the bleached portion will be more porous and the toner will cling there. You can barely tell by the photo that he took at the salon how uneven my hair is. I really noticed it when I got out to the car and immediately started crying after seeing it in natural sunlight. Some sections are charcoal colored almost black, some are the silver that I wanted, some are purple and some are blonde that he missed. I even have sections that were not evenly toned that are now fading to green. I also have to say that the hair cut I got was the most pitiful thing in the world He did not section my hair and told me to stand up and simply cut a little bit of dead ends off. He curled it awfully nice and presented a really beautiful picture of the "after" but I must say that is nothing more than an illusion. I paid far too much for the service that I got. I ended up paying just as much to go to Target and Sally's to correct it myself with lemon juice and deep conditioning treatments.
