I have been to Rae's four times, and the first two went pretty well. Unfortunately, the most recent two visits were really one visit spread over two, and I'm still not happy with how it went. Even though they were perfectly nice, they cut my layers straight across so my hair has a bunch of chunks instead of smooth layers that lay nicely. One the first of these two visits, the manager overheard me trying to explain to the first person who cut my hair that I didn't like how the layers looked, and she actually called me to ask if I would like to come in to have it fixed. I thought that was amazing customer service and appreciated her effort. I made an appointment and went in again, but the manager gave me almost the exact same cut, chopping my hair horizontally. Then when I picked up a chunk and showed her, she explained that that was just how it would look because I parted my hair on the side. Looking back, I don't know if they even realized it looked terrible. I have never had layers cut this way and now, it bothers me almost every day. I didn't want to give them a low rating because I've had pleasant interactions with them, but I won't be going there again because of the way they cut my layers.

Worse experience ever. Spent $156 to get ombré and they ended up messing my hair big time. Jenn treated me like an animal pulling my hair really hard and smacking my head. My daughter is my witness. I asked for a certain color for ombré and the color was no were near what I wanted. Wish I could post the picture.

My husband and I have gone to Rae's since it opened. Everyone there is wonderful. They always do a great job and they treat everyone like family. We won't go anywhere else.

Rose is phenomonal! She works magic in this smaller hair salon. The prices are reasonable. The vibe is close community and they serve men, women, and children. I always know that my haircut and color will be great.
