I have been here 3 times for a haircut. Never had a positive experience. Aside from the drug addict girl that kept nodding off while cutting my hair, the stylists are usually competent. I haven’t really had an issue with a bad cut. My main issue is with the price and the atmosphere. I get a men’s haircut. Buzz the sides, scissor cut the top. I’m in and out of the chair 10 mins max. $26 plus tip. When I commented on the price as it seemed pretty high for a quick cut they said “it includes a shampoo”. I never get it and it’s not optional. I have a feeling that they charge these prices because they are the only place in town but it just seemed too high for what I was getting. But the price isn’t really that big of an issue, the biggest thing that bothers me is how the manager interacts with the staff. I have been there numerous times and every time I go in the manager is yelling at the stylists about something trivial. All in front of the customers. Then when she goes in the back or leaves for the day, all of the stylists start talking behind her back about what a terrible boss she is. It is extremely uncomfortable and is the main reason I won’t be going back.

I loved coming to Holiday Hair and bringing my son with me. We always saw the same stylist and she was awesome. She ended up leaving, but Holiday hair was still super close. Not long ago, I took my 3 year old son in to get his hair cut. The stylist was an older woman who repeatedly implied that my son had a disability and asked questions about our family history. He was 3 and is an active little boy.

I know some people have bad experiences here, and I have had a bad cut myself. However, I have started going solely to Cassie, a master stylist at this location, and can honestly say that as long as she works there I will be going there. She's kind, is intentional about details, and takes her time doing it right. Go see Cassie, and tip her well so she sticks around!
