Let me tell you a little something about Red Inc salon and Color Workshop. First of all, this is a joke. Salon? It's nothing. I walked in there expecting to get my hair colored and start transitioning from brunette to blonde. Now, I've been coloring my hair since I was very young. I may not be a hairstylist and I may not know everything there is to know about coloring but I am very well aware that it takes some time to transition from brunette, or any dark colors for that matter, to blonde. I'm not stupid when it comes to this. So when I walked into the salon on the second of May I was expecting to start going blonder. I was expecting to see a little bit more of a drastic change than what I received. However after 4 hours of sitting in a chair I walked away with only what looked like a few highlights and no real changes to my hair color. The only significant difference that people could tell was that it had been curled. And that was after the fact that she had done it. Not to mention that this whole process cost me well over $300. I found that to be so ridiculous and out of the price range for what I paid for. After I contacted Lisa, the owner, letting her know that although I did love what she had done to my hair it was not what I was expecting and it was definitely not what I was expecting for the price, I was met with rude and passive aggressive remarks. At one point I was told to "stop badgering her because it was ruining her mood". As a client who was unhappy with her service, and to this day still is, I was shocked and a little bit hurt to say the least that I was met with something like this. I had posted a review on Google as well as one on Yelp a day after the event that occurred and only a day after the reviews had been posted I had been contacted by Lisa once more. She told me that she would "re-highlight my hair" (even though this was not what I asked for in the first place at all) if I would take down my "horrible reviews". I politely declined her offer as that was not what I wanted and at this point I simply wanted my money back. After arguing for an hour or so Lisa eventually agreed to give me my money back in full. So I took down the reviews, had anyone else who put up reviews take them down as well, and waited. After a day of hearing nothing back I let her know that all the reviews were taken down. Another day past and still nothing. I contacted her for at least 4 days in a row, called the salon, and even called her personal cell. Nothing. I was met with dead silence. I am beyond frustrated and at this point. Furious. Not only was I given a service I was not at all happy with, I was also promised a reimbursement that never came. I was met with passive aggressive remarks, rudeness, and long periods of silence. This is not a salon or even a business I would ever go to and if you want your hair done right please do not go here. I am absolutely appalled.
