Just moved to Bluffton, and as with any move … always a concern to find a quality hair salon and stylist you really like. I feel very lucky to have found Salon1050e, and specifically Austin. I found everyone in the salon very professional, friendly and courteous … and Austin was very focused on listening, and working with me to achieve the cut I am able to manage well, for my style of hair! She nailed it!!! I am thrilled with Austin, and this salon … and will be coming here for as long as we live in this area! THANK YOU AUSTIN … you rock!!! :)

Kristen does a great job with highlights, but her haircuts are choppy and uneven. I have been to her two times and will not be returning. The last time I was there I explained that I was not happy with my last haircut. The style did not look like a bob. My hair has been thinning out so even though I love bobs, I had suspected that it would not work. I had discussed it with her before cutting it and she assured me that it would look good. So a month later, I returned and asked her for a different style. It was a more layered look. She seemed to be upset that I was not happy with my past haircut and seemed in a rush to finish cutting my hair. When I saw it, it seemed okay, nothing like the picture I showed her. When I got home and looked closely at my layers, I noticed there were extremely short, uneven pieces everywhere. Nothing layered correctly. A few weeks later, I decided to go back to my old hairdresser. I had stopped going there because the travel was an hour and the air conditioner in my car broke down. When she saw my cut, she could not believe the uneven, short pieces. She said it was s very bad haircut and she tried to even it out. It will take 3 or more months to even it out! I cannot believe that she charges so much money, I even tip her well to get this!

I also chose this place because of being rated "Best of Bluffton." I was disappointed from the moment I walked in when the receptionist slowly walked up texting and not even looking at me to say hello. Apparently I interrupted their lunch. The hair stylist seemed nice but hardly spoke to me except to find out what I wanted to have done. I was shocked by the uneven haircut I received I ended up having to cut some myself because I didn't want to have to pay someone else to fix it. I will be searching once again.
