Stage NYC hair salon

Amazing haircut! I used to get my hair cut by Jamie when she was at a different salon, and when I heard that she moved here, I had to follow her! The salon is small but super clean, and everyone there is really friendly. I’ve been coming to Jamie for about 2 years now and feel like no one else will ever do as good a job! She always makes my hair look great, and gives me good advice when I’m not really sure what I want. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommended this salon. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My stylist did my balayge ,color gloss and hair cut. I'm so happy with the result. I will definitely go back!!!

Jamie did a great job getting rid of the brassiness and white hairs from my balayage growing out. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the time she dedicated to working through my volumous hair and getting it to the ash brown color I wanted. She also explained what she was going to do before and during the process and recommended hair care tips for upkeep. The prices at the salon are also affordable - I got full highlights with gloss for about $200 plus tip. Overall I had a great experience at Stage NYC!

I brought my mom here for a keratin and all he did was spray something (which he claimed was the keratin formula) in her hair and straighten it. Didn't even last 2 days, her hair got back to being rough and unruly within a week. Please save your money and go somewhere else, this place is completely unreliable for hair services like keratin and hair smoothening.

So I came here because I have purchased a Groupon for a full head of highlights And Blowout .. so this werid Guy Lawrence did my highlights he kept complaining on how bad my hair was & how burnt thay where? Like come on now.. I understand say thay ‘ might break ‘ ‘ there a bit damage ‘ But don’t act like you’re so great cause for dying my hair and using so much heat my hair is actually healthy he was just jealous and knew he was going to do a bad job so he was blameing my hair.. then he started to force me into buying some other treatments & make me feel like I have no choice Bla bla bla Make a long story short he kept walking away from me he kept the bleach on for way to long cause these people are so desperate for money/business thay took anyone who walked in even tho thay we’re taking care of clients including my self already? After he took the foils out This other Chinese guy who worked there seid my hair is to dark and it won’t work with the toner I picked out Then I seid okay what toner should I use so he goes ‘ idk pick a other one out or I’ll put you on the phone with my boss’ so I seid okay then the boss seid a Carmel color so I seid ok after thay put the toner on my hair that kept it on to long then when I seen my hair it was completely purple MC all day then after the guy finally said OK I might’ve picked purple but I’m not a colorist ????? WTFF so why did you do that and if you knew you was wrong why would he kept going on how I was mad .. anyways this was the worst experience in the whole world at a hair salon in my whole life I have so much more to say and I might write a other review just to say it oh and also thay have a 10 day thing where If you don’t like your hair you can come back.. but he seid I can’t come back and thay refunded my Groupon.. but now I’m stuck with the Groupon because it’s a 3 party line and after 3 days it’s non returnable
