I was only home for one weekend and I had to schedule a haircut for that Saturday. Unfortunately, the person I wanted to have do my hair wasn't in the salon that day, so I got recommended to someone else. He was very friendly but was not receptive to what I wanted. I asked for a very natural blonde balayage or highlight (I am already blonde, just wanted a touch up) with a rooted look, and he quickly shot that down. He assured me my hair would look natural, and went on to do the coloring and cut that he preferred. While he was very nice, I left very unhappy feeling like he didn't listen to my preferences or what I wanted. I went back to college after this and was not in the area to go back to the salon to get it fixed. I tried calling fx at least 10 times on separate occasions but there was no answer. I left a message twice. They called me back after my second message, and I talked to a women there who referred me to another hair stylist. The new hair stylist told me that she is separate from the salon and cannot help me with my compensation. I tried to contact the salon again and had to leave another message. The manager returned my call. At this point, it was a month and half after my original haircut, and he told me there was no way he could help me with compensation. I told him I would send him the pictures (attached) of my hair as I feel he would be very disappointed if he saw how it turned out. He repeatedly told me that he could not do anything for me because I waited too long to get in contact, even though this wasn't necessarily my fault. He did not listen to my concerns at all and put the blame on me. I am very disappointed in the service I received. Fx was extremely hard to get ahold of and I feel any customer should be given an opportunity to have some sort of compensation if they are very unhappy with their service, even if it is a month and a half after. The pictures attached were taken within 2 days of getting my hair done. I went a week later to a salon by my college to get it fixed.

Worst haircut of my life. Thinned my hair so much I can't use a curling iron. The texture of my hair is now rough and frizzy. Cannot do anything except let it grow out. Went to another salon and they could not believe what was done.
