Great Salon. Great Staff. Fast Service. Atmosphere is great as well! I've been going here for the past 21 years( every since Salon Central on Freedom Dr.) and never had a complaint. The owner is amazing and fun! I recommend everyone to give them a try!

My first time frequenting on the recommendation of a friend. Style was more than quoted online but it is advertised as "starting at $$$" and I chose a smaller size twist. My appointment was at eight and was taken in right away after checking in and confirming service. Started out with one stylist and another was added. I expected to be there at least six hours+ but was in at eight, out by eleven. The atmosphere was pleasant and the style came out wonderful and am happy with the results. I am sure that if any issues arise, they will be addressed promptly and in a professional manner. I received compliments throughout the day when running errands and was glad to advise that Bignon's, S. Tryon was responsible. Thank you.

I went here yesterday and it was horrible. The lady was braiding my hair too tight. Then I asked her to stop she was going to take my hair out. She said"I cannot promise your hair won't come out". I'm like I'm out. They tried to get me to go to another braider but after that it was a bad taste. An the lady became confrontational saying my hair is soft an so on basically trying to make excuses for her braiding my brain into the braid. No excuses. They don't care if they take your hair out. Braiding too tight causes damage. I WON'T BE BACK.

I was @ Bignon’s African Hair Studio this past weekend and got my Box Braids done, my experience was awesome. The ladies there were nice and very professional. I haven't got my hair braided in a long time so I had lots of question, the manager took her time to explain the process to me as well as the difference between the braid sizes. Also, I got in @8Am and was out by 12: 15. And they have a free wifi Yes, I will definitely recommend Bignon's African hair studio to anyone who is looking for a nice clean and professional salon to get their hair done.
