If I could rate them a 0 I would. Beware of this place. They are really prompt and eager to schedule an appointment and take your money but if you have an issue with your braids you have to jump through hoops so they can fit you in. I drove from Fayetteville Feb. 7 to get my hair done and paid 180 no problem. The next day I drove u again so my mom could get her hair done. Our braids have been coming out everyday. It’s so bad I’m scared to wear my hair down because they are coming out left and right. All I wanted them to do was take the braids out and I keep getting the run around. I’m only available to drive up during the week because I work and I guess they make the most money on the weekends. I’ve been waiting on her to call me for over a week. Just got off the phone with NAY and still no appointment to take this mess out my head. She keeps saying I’ll call u Friday. RIGHT LIKE YOU DIS LAST WEEK!!The braids are coming out from the roots and taking my hair with it. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT RHE DOLLAR NOT HAIRCARE OR BUILDING CLIENTELE. Good thing I’ve changed because I want to turn that nasty ass shop upside down!!!!!

This was the worse hair shop I’ve EVER experienced and would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. I will admit that Nay responded to my email in a timely manner. However, there customer service is horrible. I’m not familiar with African Shops, therefore I’m not accustomed to their rude and nonchalant dynamics. Nay implied that she would be the one doing my hair because she didn’t say otherwise and she emphasized the earlier I arrive, the better. I arrive 15 minutes early all for her or anyone in her stead not to be available to start. I don't like wasting my time. Apparently, her sister who was doing someone else’s hair tells me “she’s going to call her now” after 15 minutes have been wasted. The lady that arrives is not Nay doesn’t introduce herself or anything etc. very confused, but moving on. I’m very kindly forthcoming in my communication so I emphasized prior to her starting how I wanted the front of my hair braided. Upon looking in the mirror the 2 braids that she has done is nothing like what was emphasized. So in a threatened tone she said “I’m going to try this one more time and if you don’t like it, i’m going home.” And I was fine with that because definitely don’t want someone on my hair who doesn’t want to do it...even though I'm paying them for a service. Then they kept rudely talking extremely loud, yelling back and forth in their native tongue etc. etc. Absolutely hated this place and they will never get patronized by me EVER again.

They did a great job. I got microbraids. I have a big head and my hair isn't long but I have a lot of hair or thick hair and it took them exactly 5hrs to do my hair which is really good. There was two people on my head and they were being gentle and I'm tenderhead and they didn't braid too tight. They were very nice. As soon as I got home I was able to try different hair styles without experiencing pain so even though my braids look tight they don't feel tight. I slept normally. The 18inch hair come with the price and on me it comes to my shoulder. If you want a longer length bring your own hair. I suggest bringing ear phones and listen to some music. I will be back.

Clean shop, the owner was friendly as well as other staff. Work was efficient, neat and quality. They explained in advance the cost difference in the length of braids I was requesting. Will definitely use their services again.
