Suzie was the stylist who did my hair. For starters, she pretty much ignored me the whole time she was doing my hair. Barely said a word. I felt like she was rushing. I don’t think she paid close attention to what I wanted at all. I went in for highlights and left with brassy roots. I didn’t realize how horrible my hair looked until I got home. My husband (oddly enough) was the first one to notice as soon as he saw me that my hair didn’t look right. I contacted her and she told me to come back in. So the next day, I went back. Result? Brassy roots! Again, went home and to my displeasure, a bad result. She told me to come in AGAIN!!! Three times a charm right? Wrong! 3 times and each time I left disappointed. She did not do what I asked and she refused to refund my money. I now have to pay a different salon for a color correction when Suzie should have done the right thing and refunded my money so this next appointment wouldn’t be so expensive! My husband lost hundreds of dollars at work with all the time he had to take off for Suzie to “fix” my hair. Instead of her admitting that she didn’t do a good job, she asked me if I was on medication any maybe that’s why my hair turned yellow. I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 10 years and I have never had this happen. I guess you get what you pay for. Horrible experience!!!

I have been going to Lara for over a year and have never been disappointed with her work. She is a great colorist and is always meticulous in getting the cut just right. Beside her work, she is a delightful woman!

I walked in and the 2 stylists stopped talking, turned to me, and looked at me like I had 3 heads. That was a nice feeling; they didn't say hi or anything. I finally piped up and asked when the next time for a trim would be and after answering me with a clipped "3 o'clock" she continued to talk to her friend. She didn't offer to take my name or a phone number or make the appointment. That short encounter made me feel so terrible.

I have been a client of Lara's for over five years. I have never been disappointed in regards to her prices or craftsmanship. Believe me, with my THICK hair and growth pattern Lara definitely earns 5 stars.
