First time I went to this salon Carly did my highlights. They looked great, except for when I would pull my hair up into a pony tail, I looked like I had random streaks. The second time I went back to Carly I told her what I liked and and then showed her what I did not like (the streaks that were uneven when I pulled my hair back) from the previous visit with her. She said she was going to foil my hair this time. So she did her thing. I didn't have time to stay and have a blow dry because I had already been there for several hours. So she brushed me and on my way, I went. I had partial highlights done and was charged almost $200 yeah....almost $200 for a partial highlight, not even a blow dry! Crazy! Anyway, later that day as my hair dried, I wanted to CRY! My hair had been fried and to top it off it off- it looked awful! I called and spoke to a lady that said she was the owner: Amanda, she was so rude and told me Carly is their top stylist and she can't believe that my hair looked bad, and that I needed to calm down. Seriously! Let someone completely destroy your hair and then tell you that you are not allowed to get upset. She basically hung up on me after giving me an email address to send pictures to. She emailed me and informed me that she would have to speak with Carly figure out what to do from there. You are the owner of a Solon, I am a customer who called as a result of a bad color result. What does your stylist have to do with what to do from there? After being treated like I was practically lying, and being told to calm down, in my eyes there is one solution, apologize and refund my money. I would ever go back to a salon where the OWNER was rude and dismissive. Bad experience from beginning to end.

Today I donated my hair to Wigs for Kids at Strawberry Salon. It was an amazing experience. Lindsay and the team made me feel right at home during my first visit to the Salon. I love, love, love my cut and highlights. The color is amazing. My husband says I look 15 years younger. Thanks so much girls. I have found my new stylist and salon.

Terrible customer service. I went here after highly recommended by a couple people. $150 later and my hair looked exactly the same as when I came in. When I called to ask if it would darken over the next couple days I was told by the receptionist she would talk to the stylist and would call me back, then promptly hung up. She never called back. The next day I called and complained about the customer service and no change in my hair. The manager offered to have it fixed by another stylist complementary and then had the receptionist reschedule me at the Mount Pleasant location. She told me the wrong date and I drove the hour there only to find out my appointment was the next day. Would highly recommend The Hair Botique in Goose Creek instead. They are extremely friendly, have better pricing and actually do their job by cutting/dying your hair.

I LOVE this salon! I have gone to the same salon at home in Maryland for my whole life. Last year when I was new to the area, I went to a salon downtown and scheduled a full highlight. They ended up taking two hours to give me a partial and tried charging me for the full. I came to Strawberry Blonde Salon a little nervous because of my experience at the salon downtown, but Heather was amazing and made me feel like I've been going there forever. Great techniques, skills, atmosphere, and prices!
