I’ve gone here a couple times when some girl did my highlights and it turned out good. (She no longer works there.) The ambience is cool and trendy. Plus free wine or citrus-infused water. So that explains the one star I give. But one time, I decided to come in for a cut and highlights and due to my availability I had to schedule with the owner (who charges a LOT). I thought it’d be worth it because, after all, he was the owner of this super hip salon, haha. Surely he’d be even better than anyone else working there... and based on his photo he looks like he’d be an expert. HA! WRONG. Aside from the fact that he was not friendly, he ended up doing a horrible job with my haircut. Barely cut anything. He didn’t listen to what it was I wanted, and did his own thing. Super awkward too. I remember trying to make casual conversation asking how much they’d charge for my young daughter (5) to get a haircut. He replied dryly, “we don’t really do kids hair...” I just got the worst vibes from him. No “chair side” manner, if you will. He never told me what he was doing on my hair, which most hairdressers typically do. And then he had 2 other assistants wash and dry my hair. If he hates his job that much I seriously hope he goes out of business!

Christopher is without a doubt one of a kind in Greenville! He is constantly working to be in the know about latest the trends as well as offer more traditional styles if that is what you desire. As a man, I am impressed at how well he can cut, color and style my hair, showing he's not just good as styling only women's hairstyles. I've had him add highlights as well as cut various styles with my hair over the years and it's always a great environment to be in. I highly recommend Chris and his staff to anyone!

A guy's perspective. Not what I expected in a place listed as a salon. I expected more frills and femininity, yet this place felt gender neutral but tastefully decorated. Though I had let my hair and beard grow for almost a year, I never felt out of place. Jessica thoroughly talked with me about what I wanted and it helped when I showed her a picture. I had arrived with freshly washed hair, but received a new hair-washing and scalp massage prior to the cutting. I was impressed. Not only did she continually communicate with me about the ongoing process, I could tell by her look that she's a perfectionist and ensuring that symmetry was achieved as well as a complete cut and style. Even a few days later, I haven't noticed any missed areas. So after 17 years in the Army and as a police officer while receiving chain store haircuts, I'd gladly come back to this place, and Jessica's talent, again and again.
