Horrible customer service given by Olivia at Mastercuts of Citadel Mall of Charleston SC. I took my 6 year old in for a haircut and it was the worst experience we have ever had related to getting a haircut. First of all she never cracked a smile and she never introduced herself to my son nor myself. She used the clippers so roughly on my son’s head that it appeared as if she was pushing his head with the clippers. My son jumped out of the chair! After paying $8 for her rudeness I asked my son to step away because I didn’t want him to hear her mouth after I complained to her about how rude she was. She got loud with me and stated that she had been cutting hair for 16 years and I told her that the years does not matter if you don’t know how to treat people and her response was “ yes it does”. My son has never jumped out of a barbers chair. I will never go back to Mastercuts and I would recommend that you should go to Mastercuts if you want to be treated badly with rudeness by OLIVIA. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau.

I’ve visited MasterCuts twice in the past month, spending over $150 to be left with a style and color that I’m very dissatisfied with. My first visit, I went to get my hair dyed and I showed the stylist a vivid copper red color but left with a dark burgundy red. My second visit, about two weeks later, I went into get bangs. Though I wasn’t happy with my color, I thought “Well, bangs are the simplest haircut in the book. Even a hair stylist on their first day can do bangs!” I showed the stylist what I wanted and I was very specific but not only did I not get the bang style I wanted, the bangs I got were uneven. The fringe on one side of my face goes down to my jawbone whereas the other only goes to my cheekbone. I ended up spending an additional $65 for another stylist to fix my hair as best she could. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and I won’t be back. The stylists are very friendly but that doesn’t make up for the fact that they can’t deliver quality services.

People go to this salon bring a friend or like i did your mom I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the over all cleanliness of the salon i came in for a wash twist and style and was taken care of quickly by Adriana he was the best friendly and professional and worth every penny plus a tip I called and received an appointment the same day My hair is done just the way i like it im going back every month to get my hair done also im bringing my daughter and mom along to .. Im going to keep telling people in need of a good no awesome hair stylist to please go to mastercuts Thank you for doing an amazing job quickly and professional to get me going looking good with every step

I'm only leaving 1 bc I can't leave 0 stars. Walk in to get a hair cut they say its going to be a 40 minute wait so I said ok come back in after waiting 45 mins for them to tell me it's going to longer bc there was still 3 people ahead of me!!!! Nothing but lies and long waits hire more people or tell the REAL wait time!!! Not happy and never will be back and I advise everyone else just to go somewhere else as well!!!
