I called my regular stylist Ki-Ki and she was booked through the whole week. I said okay and set up a 3:00 appointment at Sita’s African Hair Braiding! I arrived 20 minutes early and was told by one girl it would be a few minutes, then Sita said “it will be a few hours, you can wait or come back.” Annoyed, I decided to come back. When we returned a hour and 1/2 later, Sita took two girls before me! That really made me MAD. So now we still have to wait and it is now 7:00. My child finally sits in the chair and the lady doing her hair could not braid using the hair I bought, so I had to go back to the Beauty Supply store and purchase more hair! Got the hair and showed the style she wanted. Sita said it would be $140 to do the style, but she would take off $10 because I had to wait! $10! WTH! At first she was not going to take any money off, but when she saw my face she gave my that stupid $10 credit. Needless to say after all the POOR customer service I received, we did not get out of there until 1:00am! I said all that to say this! They braided children’s hair that was odviously dirty and unkept! She even told one lady to blow dry her child’s hair because she couldn’t get the comb through it! Packed her hair with gel and sat her under the dryer! I was so mad for that little girl. The salon stinks of dirty dippers or unclean toilets. It’s dirty and not worth spending your hard earned money. If you can get your child in with someone else today, GO! Poor customer service, poor salon conditions, poor braiding procedures, just poor all around. I give Sita’s African Hair Braiding an F! Your Truly, A very unsatisfied visiting client

Never again. I promise you, this was my last resource. They are completely unprofessional and they could care less about being professional. I was the first one at the salon at 8:15 am and was the last one to leave at 7:30 pm. Unacceptable! I had to wait until after 10 to get my hair done. The lady that did my hair kept jumping from head to head which delayed my service. And stopping to handle other things. Again, unacceptable! Futhormore, they tried to over charge me and I stated that I was not paying for the full price because I certainly was not being treated fairly. One thing not to mess with is my money. I was told on the phone that I would pay $170. Come to find out, it was $260. Absolutely not! So the lady was trying to be slick and say, “Since I keep your hair, I won’t charge full price.” Trust, even if she didn’t keep my hair, I WAS NOT paying full price for their horrible service. I gave her $200 and walked out of there. I would say that my hair looks good, but why are the ends already unraveling? I just got my hair done YESTERDAY. To top it off, the place is dirty. That’s not something a customer should spend their money. The ratings were right about this place. I certainly was in a stuck situation so I had no choice but to get my hair done. Never again. EVER again. My mom had to fix my ends for me when she shouldn't have to. Never again.

Very Unprofessional & Arrogant attitude. She, the owner SITA will say yes to ANYTHING just to get you in the shop. Persuades you to get a style she can do but it's not what u want! Her stylist Lydia, is Awesome! Shevreally needs her own shop however that owner is a classic B! I will NEVER give them 1 dime of my hard earned money EVER again!!! The sister shop "KiKi's (Main St., Summerville) does way better business.

Today I went in for cornrolls and she did a fabulous job on my head. She was also quick and very professional. I would recommend Sita African Hair Braiding to everyone. Thank you for a great experience!
