We had Mario, Mike and his team out to complete our concrete work this summer. After going through many different estimates from other companies we decided to go with Mario and his crew based on first impressions, price, and reputation. We have family who work with commercial concrete and recommended A1. We were not disappointed by their professionalism. They showed up as announced, were there every day and went above and beyond. We had a few grading issues as our backyard slopes quite a bit. A1 had creative solutions for drainage and design. We went with exposed aggregate and the finish and craftsmanship was above our expectations. A1 also refinished our front porch with aggregate making it look fantastic. They added two coats of sealer as promised. There is not a bad thing we can say about these guys. Now months later everything is holding up the way it should. We are thankful for their work and appreciate it. Thank you.

I suppose I can not provide a review of their work as they never got started. Have to say super disappointed contacted them several times and each time was a run around not returning my calls or emails. Finally had a call answered, scheduled an appointment first one no show (no call to explain, took another week to get a hold of, had to call several times), second time showed and promised quote by end of day. Still waiting, not one phone call or email has been returned. Last message I left asked for company to just let me know that they are unable to take the job. A plus was highly recommended and as this was for a business was happy to have a recommendation to go on. It is companies like this make me question, how can they not think their reputation is important? I would of been okay if told they were not able to take on job. As a manager we look to our colleagues for any vendors, in my circle that would be 100+ offices in Hamilton. If asked I will warn to not contact this company.

Mario gave me a fair quote on a paving project and we set up a date for the work, more than a month in advance. I continually kept in touch with him leading up the date to confirm that his crew would be ready and on schedule, and we seemed to be on track. A month after the project date, A Plus has never shown up and Mario hasn't once bothered to reply to my constant emails and phone messages. I did talk with the receptionist at the A Plus office a few times- she has me telling me that the work will get done 'this Thursday or Friday' pretty much every week for the last month ... is this company still in business?
