This company worked across the street, and my car miraculously showed up with a dent, covered in asphalt, in my hood when I came out of my house 1 hour after they departed.(not on my bumper where a regular car or truck would have hit it.) After they left without leaving a note. I tracked them down and all the supervisor, Franco, asked was if anyone witnessed it (this is after he laughed looking at the damage.) Even the guy at Balboa Body shop who inspected it commented on all the asphalt on it... When I called Rick, the Controller at American Ashpalt South, all he had to say was that I had no case against them. Would you want to hire someone who has ethics so low they would do something like this?

We had the same terrible experience as another Reviewer (copied portion of their review): I agree... "This company is absolutely unprofessional. They were hired to repave the streets within my neighborhood. They placed signs on the street on Monday advising the repaving to be done on Wednesday and that you could not park on the streets between 7am and 5pm..." Our paving was on Thursday - so 90 minutes after the posted 7am start time, they banged on our front door, window and rang the doorbell repeatedly like there was a life or death emergency and woke the entire household! When it explained to the Door Banger his methods were unnecessary and quite disturbing, he shrugged his shoulders, rudely asked his "use your car" question and walked away. I can understand wanting to verify people aren't going to pull vehicles out of the driveway and destroy their work, but the manner in which you do so needs major overhauling! I even contacted Mgmt via the phone number on the door flyer, they were very "ehh" about it... nice professionalism!

This company has integrity. There was a situation where my car was sprayed with slurry/asphalt product. After contacting the City of Escondido and getting the runaround; the owner of this company found me and corrected the problem! Thanks again for doing the "right thing."

5☆top of the line for years I told myself this streets need a fix. Next thing u know I see a guy spraying blue liquid to kill the weeds. Few weeks later some more guys come back To cover the cracks which I was surprised. Buy the next days there throwing some road slurry which made the street look like. New!!!!
