We used Ben's Asphalt for our office. They did a great job! David was very attentive and the pricing was lower than 3 other contractors. They completed the work on time and within budget. I would recommend them.

They did a quick job but in their haste they took off the security chain and ran over the landscape with their heavy machinery

If I can give them "0" (zero) stars, I would. I would not recommend BEN'S ASPHALTS to anybody. The staff are very rude and not very good at what they do. Supposedly, they put signs around the site that they will be working in, on, and/or around. I didn't see any signs. They might have put up signs during working hours, but it was not there after. They park their vehicles, blocking entrances/exits to people's homes, driveways, sidewalks, etc. If you're young, a female with a skinny body and pretty face, they will be nice and move out of your way. If you're old, fat, male and/or female, doesn't matter if you have a pretty face or not, they will ignore you and continue being rude to you. Their work "SUCKS". They do everything at my site half done and make it look decent. They are loud and noisy and do not follow quiet and/or loud noises rules in neighborhoods. In addition, I hope that none of its staff members and/or owners run into a life and/or death situation at the hospital, doctor's office, pharmacy, etc. All because one and/or all of the medical staff member(s) is/are almost late (and/or late) because construction workers, asphalt/concrete workers, and/or anybody for that matter is/are blocking the medical staff member(s)'s driveway, way out and/or in, etc. to get to work. Lastly, I hope that they won't get a rude answer (if/when their staff and/or any of their staff members get into a life and/or death situation), saying that " we posted signs up (when there really weren't any) notifying people that we will be working in the area", "it's not our responsibility to notify anybody and/or post up any signs - that's your management's job so you should bring it up with them". Because that's my line of work, that's what happened to me, and those are the things that were said to me by Ben's Asphalt's staff.

After working 12 long hours I come to a dirt street leading up to my parking spot. I drive down the dirt road and park in my assigned spot when I'm bombarded by some woman telling me how dare I damage what they are doing and that I'll be towed. 1. I pay for this spot. 2. It's only dirt and shouldn't be blocked off anyways. I can drive on it just like there tractors do. 3. Ben's asphalt decided to work on our street from Tuesday-Friday and make 100's of condo owners park BLOCKS away and walk back. They even decided to do it the same time the city is doing construction on the street leading up to the complex, making it an even further walk! 4. I'm not getting reimbursement for what I pay for the 2 parking spots we rent and cant use (I'll take that up with the complex myself.). 5. I'll be gone before they even start working tomorrow anyways I try to call the company but no answer yet they can tow people at all hours of the night? I wonder how that works.... According to people associated with the complex/company....They have made it known that Ben's Asphalt gets a kickback from the tow company for how many people they call them on. Great business guys! I'm sure more reviews will follow once I spread the word.
