Seal Cal Coating is a professional company based on customer satisfaction located in California, United States. As a small business, they strive to keep their customers happy, while maintaining competitive prices and quality service. With all that being said, small businesses maintain their revenue off of positive word of mouth and marketing, while competing with huge global companies/industries that have the upper hand because of their position in the market and their resources. To say that Seal Cal runs off of a "Tijuana mentality" is not only a racist and ignorant slur, but fundamentally does not follow any type of logic that Craig was trying to imply. Craig Jerkins wanted a low price but quality work and he was only able to find those type of prices and work through small businesses like Seal Cal, who run off of hardworking employees - because we all know that big corporations wouldn't give you a cheap and quality price. So what Craig is implying is that he wanted a "Tijuana" company (aka cheap and quality labor), but wants to assume a "privileged" position when he feels wronged or challenged (which he wasn't - It seemed to be a matter of miscommunication). This is a fundamental example of people wanting to exploit (racialized) labor, while being privileged and bossy in the way they deal with human beings. People like him will never be satisfied because at the basis of his review is nothing more than racism, privilege, and a lack of dealing with human beings in a reciprocally respectful way. I will continue to support Seal Cal and small businesses because of people like Craig and because they offer quality work.

I set an appointment with Vicente. I took a half day off work, he did not show, he did not call. Typical Tijuana mentality. Then to exacerbate the situation Vicente and the owner of Seal Cal have called me 3 times because they are angry over this google review. I guess they are making my point again!
